Your shifts in Outlook
A private calendar link for your own shifts or the whole roster. Read-only, with only what a calendar needs.
Workers and coordinators can see their Autonomy Care shifts in Outlook by subscribing to a private calendar link. Published shifts from the last 14 days to 90 days ahead appear, with first names and suburbs only. It's read-only: the roster stays in Autonomy Care, and nothing in Outlook changes it.
How does it work?
In Autonomy Care, workers open My shifts and choose Add to my calendar, on the web or in the app. Coordinators who can see the roster can make a link for the whole published roster from the Roster page. Paste the link into Outlook as a subscribed calendar.
What does the calendar show?
Published shifts from 14 days ago to 90 days ahead, with the participant's first name and the suburb. No surnames, street addresses, notes, NDIS numbers or phone numbers. Each event links back to Autonomy Care for the rest, for people who are signed in.
What if a link is shared by mistake?
Make a new link and the old one stops working straight away. You can also turn it off completely.
How quickly do changes show?
The link asks calendars to check every hour. Outlook decides how often it actually checks, so a change can take a while to appear. Autonomy Care always has the latest roster.
What it does and doesn't do
It does
- Shows published shifts in Outlook
- Covers 14 days back to 90 days ahead
- Leaves out surnames, addresses and notes
- Can be replaced or turned off at any time
It doesn't
- Doesn't change the roster from Outlook
- Isn't a two-way sync
- Doesn't show draft or cancelled shifts
